We pay you €1,000 if you don’t see the auroras during your Levi holiday.

Conditions:

• Book a holiday of at least 5 nights in Levi for at least 2 people.
• Book at least one aurora hunting tour by van.
• Every evening of your holiday, go outside between 8pm and 11pm and watch the sky for at least a few minutes.

If your aurora hunting tour fails, we will try to book you another aurora hunting tour free of charge, subject to availability.

This guarantee applies to The Aurora Dream full holiday package in Levi only. It does not apply to holidays in Rovaniemi or elsewhere, or to individual tour bookings.

The deal: if you see any auroras with the naked eye, we consider that you have seen the auroras and no refund is given. The northern lights can be very faint on nights when aurora activity is low. We cannot guarantee a bright display — that happens only on some nights.

The €1,000 refund is per booking, not per person.

Our Guaranteed Premium Aurora Hunting Tour bookings receive a full refund of the tour price if no aurora is seen — but not the €1,000 bonus.

Aurora season runs September to March. Any month can be good — it all depends on the weather conditions each winter. March is the least cloudy on average, giving the best chances. We include an aurora alert app and our Aurora Explorer Map so you never miss a sighting. Check our Blog for more aurora info. 

For holiday packages:

Payment:

• Booking deposit: 20% of the total price, due within 7 days of confirmation
• Final payment: due 60 days before arrival
• Bookings made less than 60 days before arrival: full payment at the time of booking

Cancellation:

• Booking deposit (20%): non-refundable
• 60+ days before arrival: full refund (minus booking deposit)
• 30-60 days before arrival: 50-70% of total booking cost retained
• 0-30 days before arrival: 100% retained, no refund

For private tours:

• Full payment when booking
• Full refund if cancelled at least 4 days before the event

Yes. Juki Tours Oy is a registered tour operator with the Finnish Competition and Consumer Authority (KKV). Our holiday packages (accommodation, transfers and activities) are covered by the statutory insolvency protection required under the EU Package Travel Directive.

Flights are booked by you directly with the airline; we help you choose the best route and schedule. We recommend booking your entire route as one through-ticket with a single airline: if a connection is missed, the airline is responsible for rebooking you, and EU air passenger rights (Regulation 261/2004) apply.

If a disruption still affects your programme, we contact the suppliers and do our best to reschedule; whether a change is free of charge depends on each supplier’s terms. We also recommend a travel cancellation and curtailment insurance that covers delayed arrival.

Yes, in writing. All written communication is available in German, by email and WhatsApp, from your first enquiry to the day you fly home – also during your holiday. Phone and video calls are held in English. Guided activities are run in English; for selected activities, a German-speaking guide can be arranged on request, subject to availability.

Absolutely — it’s one of the best destinations in the world for families. All activities are adapted to your children’s ages. Just dress them properly.

Levi has good health services.

Pihlajalinna Levi is a private medical clinic located at the Levi. It offers services including general and specialist medicine, dentistry, occupational healthcare, and physiotherapy — plus on-site laboratory and X-ray.

No, easier than most people expect. Finnish Lapland has three airports: Kittilä (15 minutes from Levi, 35-45 minutes from Ylläs), Rovaniemi and Ivalo (30 minutes from Saariselkä, 40 minutes from Inari). In winter there are direct flights from many European cities, including London, Manchester, Berlin, Munich, Frankfurt, Vienna, Zurich, Milan and Paris. All three airports are also served year-round via Helsinki; the connecting flight north takes about 1,5 hours. We help you find the best route from your home city and plan your itinerary around the flight days. One tip: December flights sell out early, so book them well in advance.

Yes, you’ll be well connected. All our recommended accommodations have WiFi, and Lapland’s 5G mobile coverage is excellent. Jukka is also reachable via WhatsApp throughout your stay.

Payment details are included in your personal proposal. We’ll send you an invoice and a secure payment link. No surprises, no hidden costs.

Well, this is Lapland. It can be snowing for many days or -25°C all week — that’s part of the experience. Normally there is no reason to cancel or change plans. There are excellent indoor experiences — sauna, snow village, local culture — that work in any conditions.

No two days are the same. Aurora hunting, huskies, snowmobiles, ice fishing, snowshoeing, reindeer, sauna, snow village — and Jukka builds your itinerary around your family’s energy and interests.

It depends on how independently you’d like to explore. We include private transfers in all our packages — airport, accommodation, and activities. That said, if you’d like the freedom to explore on your own schedule, a rental car is easy to arrange in Kittilä. For the best chance of catching the northern lights, we recommend having a car — and we’ll give you our Aurora Explorer Map with the best spots around Levi.

Absolutely — all our villas come fully equipped with a kitchen. We can arrange grocery delivery before your arrival so everything is ready when you get there.
